Terms of Service

By using UnlockResume, you agree to these terms. If you don't agree, please don't use the service.

The service

UnlockResume helps you tailor a resume to a job description using AI, and generates supporting materials like cover letters. New accounts get a limited number of free AI tailors; unlimited use requires the paid Job Search Pass. We may change what's included in free vs. paid access, or adjust pricing, at any time — we'll reflect current pricing on the site.

Accuracy — read this

UnlockResume rewrites and rephrases the content you provide; it does not invent work history, employers, dates, or metrics you didn't give it. You are responsible for reviewing every generated resume and cover letter before you send it anywhere. We are not responsible for inaccuracies, omissions, or how an employer or applicant tracking system responds to your materials. UnlockResume does not guarantee interviews, job offers, or any hiring outcome.

Your account

You sign in with Google. You're responsible for keeping access to that account secure. Don't use UnlockResume to generate misleading credentials, impersonate someone else, or submit content you don't have the right to use.

Payment

The Job Search Pass is a one-time payment that unlocks unlimited use for the stated period. It is not a recurring subscription unless we clearly say otherwise at checkout. Refunds are handled on a case-by-case basis — contact us if something went wrong.

Availability

UnlockResume is provided “as is.” We aim for reliable uptime but don't guarantee the service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or available at all times, including when it depends on third-party AI providers.

Changes to these terms

We may update these terms as the product evolves. We'll update the date above when we do. Continued use after a change means you accept the update.
